Charlene Fadirepo

Charlene Fadirepo is a former US regulator and banker turned Bitcoin advocate and activist. She is the author of the Bitcoin children's book, Sade's Satoshis, and the author of the Amazon best selling book, The Bitcoin Leap: How Bitcoin Is Transforming Africa. She is the creator of the Bitcoin In Africa Podcast, and a co-author of the Bitcoin policy book, ,Bitcoin and the American Dream. ​ 

 

Charlene is the founder and CEO of Mango Digital Strategies, a Bitcoin education company that supports mission-driven businesses and organizations on their Bitcoin and digital assets innovation journey. For over three years, she has leveraged her expertise in finance, regulation, and strategy to help corporate clients integrate Bitcoin  into their business models, from treasury management to Bitcoin mining. Charlene is also the founder of a non-profit called Satoshi Sister Circle, a career, leadership and empowerment network for African and African Diaspora women. 

Charlene  has appeared in BBC Africa, Time Magazine, Good Morning America, Yahoo Finance, and other media outlets as an internationally recognized thought leader and professional speaker. Charlene was named 2024 Fin-Tech Person of the Year by the Black Tech Awards for her work in global Bitcoin education. Charlene's mission is to empower financial inclusion and growth through Bitcoin and cryptocurrency innovation.​ Charlene studied Eléctrical Engineering at the University of Virginia. She also has a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
